Timeline for LMS Conversion Tasks in Each Agency

Dec - mid January Clean up employee profiles in current LMS – remove duplicates and inactivate staff who have left the organization. BBBSA staff with assistance from agency-assigned administrator Need a contact from your agency to get started
First week of January Receive communications packet and implementation guide.  Review it with staff. Agency CEOs and Program Managers Download communications packet and begin conversion process with staff
July 6 Receive instructions for inputting staff profiles. Agency Administrator  
July 7 - 17 Add new staff and connect all staff to their managers. IMPORTANT - without records in the new AMS, staff will not have access to the Learning Center. Agency Administrator  
July 27
  • Get the LMS Reference Guide from your agency administrator.
  • Review procedures for using the new system via the reference guide.
Agency staff and Agency managers (key focus is on people in the program function and anyone who already has a transcript in the Learning Center)  
August 1 - 5    In the old LMS
  • Finish any online courses that you have started.
  • Register for any courses you want to take in August.
  • Re-print transcripts in the old system to compare to new system data.

August 6  Access to the old BBBS Learning Center shuts down.    
August 13  New BBBS Learning Center Goes Live!
  • Sign in.
  • Take the tutorial.
  • Check out your transcript to ensure all your courses were properly converted.

August 17  Webinars begin for managers and staff.  This is a chance to get your questions answered.  Anyone who is interested.  

The online BBBS Learning Center is the one place to plot your development plan, view a list of upcoming learning opportunities, register for classes, take an online course or print your transcript.  If you are new to the Learning Center, be sure to read sections for New Users and print the tips under the Help tab.
