In late 2006, Training and Staff Development changed its name and became a part of the HR Department.

What learning opportunities are available?

Instructor led classes - Many instructor led classes are available at meetings in your state or region or by teleconference or webconference. To see the schedule, go to the BBBS Learning Center and click on "Scheduled Classes".

Meetings and Conferences - Each year there is a BBBS national conference in June for agency leadership and regional conferences take place in the fall for agency staff. These conferences, in addition to statewide meetings and peer networks, allow additional opportunities for continuing education and sharing of best practices.  Watch for information about conferences on the home page of the Agency Connection.

Self-paced learning - Online courses are available 24 x 7 from any internet connected computer. Register for them in the BBBS Learning Center by clicking on Course Search.  Many articles, tool kits, sample policies and templates are available throughout the Agency Connection website.
